Pasted text and tool output

Text you paste into a CleanThisText tool, and the result generated by that tool, are handled in browser memory for the current page. We do not intentionally send that text to our servers, analytics providers, advertising providers, affiliate links, URLs, browser storage, or server logs. Refreshing or closing the page clears the workbench state.

Theme preference

The light/dark button saves only your chosen color theme in first-party local storage under toolbox-theme. This preference stays on your device and is independent for each companion site. It never contains pasted text or tool results.

Ordinary website and technical data

Your browser requests pages, styles, scripts, fonts, and other assets. Hosting, security, and delivery providers may process ordinary request data such as IP address, user agent, requested path, timestamps, and technical diagnostics. This data is separate from your pasted tool text.

Analytics

Google Analytics is not configured for this deployment. When it is enabled, this site sends only allowlisted product events such as a tool slug and a button action. It does not intentionally send pasted input, generated output, extracted values, search terms, text-bearing errors, or clipboard contents. Analytics code does not load until the consent bridge receives an affirmative consent signal where the configured CMP provides one.

Advertising and consent

No third-party ad-delivery scripts are currently enabled. Google AdSense ownership metadata and the Google seller record do not load advertising code. Optional affiliate links remain available.

Affiliate banner images load directly from CJ affiliate-network image servers. These requests can disclose your IP address, browser details, site origin, and network cookies under the provider policies. They do not contain pasted text, tool output, or search terms. The banners are images and links, not third-party scripts.

A first-party maintenance script removes only recognized retired advertising workers and provider cache entries. It does not clear pasted text, cookies, session storage, or unrelated offline data.

Your choices

You can use every text tool without an account. Where the Google consent controls are available, use Privacy and cookie settings to revisit your choice. U.S. state privacy options, where applicable, are presented by the configured Google Privacy & messaging message.
